Dear WMF Team,
WMF Global Cabinet is happy to announce the appointment of Mr. Harish Nair as President and Mr. Johnson Thommana as Coordinator of WMF Africa Region.
We wish them a very vibrant and result oriented tenure in their new assignment and ensure that WMF objectives are achieved in their respective region.
Mr.Harish Nair hails from Kollam, Kerala. He has completed MBA in operations management. Presently He is working as Country Head for DAG Bajaj in Benin Republic, West africa. Early 2000 He started his career and worked with different Companies Like Forbes, TVS, BAJAJ etc.Also He worked in various Countries like India, Indonesia, Nigeria and Benin.
He has attended professional trainings like, Train the trainer Programme, Six sigma Green belt, Bullet proof Manager programme etc. He handle almost six languages like Malayalam, English, Tamil, Hindi, Bahasa Indonesia & French.
Currently Mr.Harish settled in Benin Republic with His wife Anupama Harish. They have one Daughter aged 9.5 years and one son aged 6 years.
He's the Founder Vice President of WMF Benin. Also He is Founder Africa co ordinator of WMF Malayalam Mission.
Mr. Johnson Mathew Thommana
hails from Chalakudy, Thrissur, Kerala. He joined Royal Court Bahrain in 1983 and working in Egypt since 1990 as Manager for Overseas Palaces of His Majesty, the King of Bahrain.
He is married Beena Antony Panokaram and they have 3 daughters Josna, Roshna and Sherina.
He is very active for social and charitable work in India and Egypt. He coordinated 2019 Flood relief work done By WMF- Egypt in varios places in Nilambur, Malappuram.
