The Ambassador of India to Japan, H.E. Mr. Sanjay Kumar Verma, appreciated the efforts taken by WMF Japan on helping the clean up operations in Tochigi prefecture of Japan in the aftermath of typhoon no. 19 in August. In a letter to the Gen. Secretary of WMF Japan, the ambassador noted that such services will go a long way in strengthening the India-Japan relations.
